NYIGF | 2014
This years NYIGF was overall about the same as last years (huge, overwhelming, and widely varied), but I definitely found a few new favorites in the mix. Here are my top picks:
Pheromone Gallery by Christopher Marley. This place is my dream come true for art. Nature based, modern, and beautiful. I want it all.
Day Designer’s booth at NYIGF was lovely as well!
Joe Cariati Glass decanters. I love the super thin profiles and interesting mix of shapes.
Outpost Original from Canada. Pillows, natural sculptures (horns etc), and some furniture.
Everything by Canvas. Ceramics, dinnerware, barware, bedding +
I could barely contain my obsessed excitement when I found the Christine Originals booth. The rep must have thought I was a psychopath, freaking out over every piece. These perfectly framed miniature dioramas/vignettes are to die for. They really must be seen in person:
So much gorgeous stationery etc. by Rifle Paper Co.
EFL Sales felted wool animal heads are so fun for kids’ rooms!
Also for nurseries/ kids rooms, BlaBla has some really cute things, like mobiles, bedding, and stuffed animals.
Screech Owl Design has so many fun prints and notecards. As an interior designer and animal lover, they are just too perfect.
I wish there was a larger online image of this ABC print I saw at Screech Owl’s booth, it is so cute! The details are great.
Trowbridge Gallery is always a great source for art.
Another excellent art source is Zoe Bios Creative. They have a really unique mix of styles, I love too many to choose images here.
Wall Play by Gold Leaf Design Group is a great way to add sculptural art to any space. I hope they get better images up on their site soon! Here’s a quick snap from the show:
Scintilla Iceland‘s pillows, and textured bath towels.
Finell‘s Neo Lux Living pieces are every modernists’ dream. Surprisingly well priced, I’ve got to get my hands on a few:
