Custom Console Design

I recently designed this custom console table for a client in Houston, Texas. It’s not too frequently that I get to design a custom piece of furniture (as I know so many fantastic industrial designers), so when I do, it’s very exciting. There are few things as exciting as seeing your sketches or ideas come to life. The base was handmade in Brooklyn at Naula Workshop, and the stone will be cut and installed in Houston, TX. Here is a little bit about the design process:

LOCATION (The console will sit under the large brown/orange painting shown here)

Here is a view of the other half of the room. The Swarovski chandelier is custom by m | monroe design as well!

The stone top will be cut to size and installed on site. It will be flush with the top of the lacquered base, leaving a 1/2″ reveal of lacquer around the top edge. Finished photos coming soon!!
